Business Continuity Management (BCM) is defined as holistic management process that identifies potential threats to an organization and the impacts to business operations those threats, if realized, might cause, and which provides a framework for building organizational resilience with the capability of an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and value-creating activities.

Implementation of BCM helps an organization from all four perspectives – Business, Financial, Interested Parties, and Internal Processes.

This course is developed based on ISO 22301:2019 (Security and resilience — Business continuity management systems — Requirements).

BCM Lead Implementer course will help organizations/ individuals in multiple ways like:

• Understand key issues in implementing BCM

• Understand key success factors for BCM Program

• Lead implementation of BCM according to global good practices

• Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the BCMS

This course is highly interactive – exercises driven, hands-on learning experience. Delivery mechanisms include presentation-based discussions, individual / group discussions, videos. A realistic case study is used for the exercises. At the end you are ready to lead a team to implement an effective BCMS.
